Ethnic and Special Diets
Increasingly we are interacting with people of different cultures, religions and beliefs as society diversifies. This diversity may have implications for diet; ranging from groups who choose not to eat meat for personal reasons, through to a variety of ethnic diets and those who need a specialised diet for medical purposes.

Healthcare Professionals need to be aware and sensitive to these issues as they have implications for clinical practice and the provision of suitable advice. Articles in this section cover some of the dietary and health implications that may be encountered.
