Meet the Careline
For expert answers on infant nutrition

Our team is made up of Midwives, baby feeding advisors and experienced mums supported by nutritionists and Healthcare Professionals. All of us on the Cow & Gate team have loads of experience talking to mums-to-be and new parents and most of us are mums too.

You can call us 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday.

If you are a Healthcare Professional call: 08457 623 624

Parents should call: 08457 623 623

Meet some of the team....

Christine
is one of our Cow & Gate advisors. She`s a pregnancy advisor and has welcomed lots of babies into the world. But Christine doesn`t just have professional experience, she`s also got children of her own. So Christine knows what might be a fail-safe method for one child isn’t necessarily for the next. "All babies are different," says Christine. "That`s why they don`t come with an instruction manual!"

Eileen has been a member of our Cow & Gate team for over 5 years
now and is a Registered Sick Children Nurse. She thinks our Neighbourhood Mums network is a great idea. “Making new friends with other pregnant mums can be fantastic. It’s good to be able to share experiences and feelings. I had great neighbours when I was pregnant. We swapped maternity clothes and even baby clothes once our children arrived!”

Sam is the Nutritionist on the careline and has been on the
teamfor just over a year. Having worked with Sure Start and the
NHS she has plenty of experience offering nutritional advice during pregnancy, infancy and childhood. Lots of mum’s worry about overfeeding and try to follow ‘text book’ rules, but the best thing they can do is take everything at their baby’s pace and have the confidence to take cues from their baby.
