Risk factors involved in the development of allergy


1. Genetic



If one or both parents have an allergy there is a greater chance of the child developing that allergy


2. Environment
Environmental risk factors contribute to the development of an allergy:

  • Household allergens.
  • Smoking or passive smoking.
  • Air pollutants.
